Hi,

I have been evaluating different C# twitter APIs, and Tweetinvi seems to be the best, but I am getting the above error consistently when trying to use Streams; for example using SimpleStreamExample() and similar methods in the Examplinvi project.

Can you advise what could be causing this?

Cheers

James

Hi,

I am using 8.3.23.

Stack trace as follows:

> Tweetinvi.dll!Tweetinvi.Tweet.Tweet(System.Collections.Generic.Dictionary<string,object> tweetObject, TweetinCore.Interfaces.TwitterToken.IToken token, bool shareTokenWithChild) Line 413 C#
Streaminvi.dll!Streaminvi.SimpleStream.StartStream.AnonymousMethod__2(string x) Line 51 + 0x1c bytes C#
Streaminvi.dll!Streaminvi.Helpers.StreamResultGenerator.StartStream(System.Func<string,bool> processObject, System.Func<System.Net.HttpWebRequest> generateWebRequest) Line 134 + 0x1f bytes C#
Streaminvi.dll!Streaminvi.SimpleStream.StartStream(TweetinCore.Interfaces.TwitterToken.IToken token, System.Func<TweetinCore.Interfaces.ITweet,bool> processTweetDelegate) Line 66 + 0x19 bytes C#
Streaminvi.dll!Streaminvi.BaseStream<TweetinCore.Interfaces.ITweet>.StartStream(TweetinCore.Interfaces.TwitterToken.IToken token, System.Action<TweetinCore.Interfaces.ITweet> processObjectDelegate) Line 55 + 0x5a bytes C#
Examplinvi.exe!Examplinvi.Program.SimpleStreamExample(TweetinCore.Interfaces.TwitterToken.IToken token) Line 198 + 0x73 bytes C#
Examplinvi.exe!Examplinvi.Program.Main() Line 1705 + 0x8 bytes C#

I'm also getting WebException being thrown often (every 1-10 tweets). I even had a 420 response from twitter which seems strange as I'm not searching, only streaming?

Thanks for looking into this,

James
